More violence by leftist student unionists

Some students are using these protests to destroy property and attack private property. I have lost all patience with these "student" thugs. The increases should go through and these students who have broken the law need to be prosecuted and jailed. Enough is enough. Many will lose their school year whih will cost them and their parents thousands of dollars. That's what most of these so called students deserve. Riot police are facing off this afternoon with about 500 students protesting outside the Palais des congrès in downtown Montreal where Premier Jean Charest was speaking at a symposium on northern development. In the latest protest over rising tuition fees, the students gathered outside the building just after noon ET Friday. Shortly after, many entered the convention centre, but they were met head on by riot police and forced back out.

One should really ask where university students are getting the idea they can engage in Brownshirt tactics?

They are engaged in criminal activity and should be treated as criminals, not "students". I am fed up with Western Canada subsidising Quebec and thus paying for all this socialist crap. If they want it, let them pay for it with their own money.

Apparently there were foreign investors at the speech Charest was giving for the Chamber of Commerce at the Palais de Congrès. Way to scare off future jobs for yourselves, students and unionists.

Listened to Radio Canada news last night and they gave 15 minutes free time on the air to the student leaders. The media, especially the French media, are egging these thugs on.
