Gillard and her carbon tax in trouble

It looks like kevin rudd is set to overthrow HM Australian PM gillard. The labour party is very divided. It has a one seat majority in the lower house, it seems likely that the labour coalition will have trouble being maintained. If an election were held now Tony Abbott and the coalition would wipe out labour. It would also wipe out the carbon tax that gillard promised not to institute and then did. JULIA Gillard faced a revolt last night by marginal seat MPs who publicly called for her to resign as Prime Minister. For the first time, marginal seat MPs including Victoria's Darren Cheeseman went public with a demand she quit to save the party. "There's no doubt about it: Julia Gillard can't take the party forward. The community has made its mind up on her," he told the Sunday Herald Sun.
