R.I.P Pte. Brayden McLachlan,Pte. Daniel Scoular andCpl. Yannick Wright

Pte Daniel Scoular
I am  saddened by the deaths of three brave young men in an accident. My deepest sympathies to ther family and friends

Weather conditions at the time were poor as the area had received heavy snow Saturday night. Police say roads had slippery sections and some were packed with snow.

CFB Shilo says in a release that Wright had been in the Canadian Forces for three years. He was posted to Shilo in 2008 and had one tour of duty in Afghanistan in 2009.

Scoular was with the military for two years and McLachlan was a three-year veteran. Both came to Shilo last July.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of Daniel, Brayden, and Yannick and our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to their families.” said Lt.-Col. Shane Schreiber, commanding Officer of 2 Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry.

“They were excellent soldiers, friends and young men, and they will be very much missed by their comrades in the regiment.”
