Walmart Union decertified in Quebec

Unions should have secret ballots every two years to see if they are wanted by the workers, they supposedly represent. The Rand formula should be abolished. No one should be forced to join a union. Fees for actual negotiating should be all that is required of a worker. All extra fees should be fully voluntary. Public sector unions need to be reined in. I agree with the Fraser Institute.
ST-HYACINTHE, Que. - Quebec's labour relations commission has revoked the union accreditation of a Wal-Mart store in St-Hyacinthe, Que.
The decision rendered Tuesday was in response to a petition filed by 147 of the store's 205 employees last month.
The request was presented on the same day as one by Wal-Mart asking the commission to ensure the union had the support of the majority of the store's workers.
