I attended Theater 180/Acting Up co production of the musical Parade. It is a Canadian premiere of a show that was originally a co production of Livent and Lincoln Center in NYC. Liveent went belly up during the production in 1998. The original production had a huge cast and orchestra.
This production is based on the much smaller Donmar Warehouse production. It is the very famous story of Leo Frank, a Jewish man living in the South , accused of a terrible murder. The reviews were somewhat disappointing. I enjoyed the production but agree with the reviews that it needed some more theatrical oomph.
