Tory Climate realism

the church of kyoto is closing soon. HM Government has know this for some time. They are climate realists.

The activists are the ones with their heads in the sand.

When federal Environment Minister John Baird arrives in Cancun, Mexico for the annual United Nations climate summit, he and his counterparts from around the world likely will agree to bury the Kyoto accords. But this will be a mere formality: Kyoto has been dead for years. It’s just that world leaders and UN officials have refused to acknowledge its passing.

This may be very conspiratorial, but the reason the networks aren't reporting much from Cancun is because the powers that be are in the process of changing the subject from global warming/climate change to the next big world crisis. Global Warming/Climate Change has run its's time to move on.
