Time for a real debate in Quebec

Last week, five of my friends and I decided enough is enough.

After 50 years of endless constitutional debate in Quebec, where every single election at every level is an excuse for a fight between the Yes and the No camps, we decided there needs to be a real debate during the next elections, between those who support the status quo of a big government and those who want it to go on a diet.

We launched a grassroots movement: Reseau Liberte-Quebec (Quebec Freedom Network). The media have already dubbed us the Quebec Tea Party without a social conservative wing. It’s not that we hate so-cons in Quebec, it’s just that our religious background is different.

Register for our event OCT 23, 2010 in Quebec City. Come to our fundraising cocktail or contribute. Follow us on Twitter or Facebook.

Dr. Roy, It is amazing that in a democratic free world we have to resort to launging a media to speak for canadians.

It is ironic that a war zone Afghanistan under the regime of taliban had only taliban media but when Karzai came in and soldiers took root there slowly the afghans particularly the women and girls began to associate themselves with the rest of society. They also brought in their media. Now how is that? hmmm?

How is it that Afghans can have a new media and we can't and we live in the FREE WORLD.
Why are allowing fantansy medias to dictate to this nation. Are we worse than the Afghans in the media aspect-I think we are; we more afraid than the Afghans to stand on our two feet to combat socialism, communism and corruption, manipulation lies and deceit in the media.

WE DON'T HAVE A NATIONAL MEDIA FOR CANADA-NONE. THE AFGHANS DO-shocking isn't it!

The so call media here are playing a very dangerous game with our country and, without recourse.
