Good news in Manitoba

A new poll in Manitoba has the provincial Tories with a big lead. Hopefully the ndp will be toast in the next election.

Manitoba's governing NDP is in danger of losing its decade-long grip on power in the province.

The Progressive Conservative Party is leading the NDP in support, according to an Angus Reid public opinion poll released Tuesday.

Just 34 per cent of respondents in the poll stated they would support the NDP, which has governed since 1999, if a provincial election was to be held immediately.

Meanwhile, 49 per cent of respondents would vote for the Conservatives.

I think Gary Doer leaving has been a key factor in allowing the Conservatives to gain support. People liked Gary, didn't matter how much he spent or screwed up or didn't do, he always got voted in.

Good news, I wondered how long it would take Manitoba to tire of the NDP. I expect the same thing to happen in Nova Scotia too. (real conservative)
