Lord Black on the silly season

I have been generally surprised by the census "uproar". It is just a reflection of the slow news summer I suspect. Lord Black has something to say on the subject.

The fact that the head of Statistics Canada has resigned over the government’s effort to inflict a less intrusive census form on the country is bizarre — and illustrative of the fact that Canadian politics are rather bland, as well as esoteric....

The lefty bleaters got this guy hyped up to quit thinking it would deliver PM Harper's head to them, but it failed didn't it? Now this poor schmuck has no job and wondering if he was suckered? (real conservative)

I read somewhere the other day he already has a new job at some university or something. Makes me think he already knew he was leaving and had this new job lined up already, but thought it would score some points for the liberals if he pretended he was quitting because of the census.

Pretty sure I read it on one of the Iceman's blogs that said he had a job at Queens in Kingston. This was not long after he resigned.

Hey Anon, I agree another setup by the liberals. This guy already had another job lined up and probably with a raise and everything too. What scammers liberals are. If they ever stopped cheating they wouldn't last a month. (real conservative)
