Once again Maxime makes an interesting economic commentary. Maxime needs to be back in cabinet. Thank goodness he has been much more in Quebec of late.
Maxime Bernier, the former foreign affairs minister exiled from Cabinet for a scandal involving a former girlfriend with Hells Angels ties, is rapidly turning into one of Canada's most-provocative economic commentators.
In recent weeks, the MP for Beauce, Que., has argued for zero-growth budgets and zero corporate tax. During a speech in Montreal, he accused Quebec of being overly reliant on federal equalization money and argued that "many people in the rest of the country perceive Quebecers to be a bunch of spoiled children."
