The peaceful Imam

I have great admiration for the Aga Khan. He preaches tolerance and peace and I have never heard of a jihadi from this sect of Islam. I am glad HM PM Harper has made him an honorourary citizen of Canada.

I wholeheartedly agree and I say that this sect of Muslims seem to be civilized. Their adherents are respectful of differences among us all. Good for Harper.

It seems to me if a religion wishes to proseletyze then this is the way to go.

Given that, they are quite secretive.

I disagree, the centre will be a focus for all Muslims. The magnitude of the centre will be nothing less than a minaret in disguise.
If they are so peaceful why have they not have their voices heard.
All the same.

If you’re known by the company you keep, I’m somewhat concerned about the Aga Khan’s latest venture in Canada.

Most of the participants listed below are heavily involved in the UN and other “global environmental initiatives,” dear to Maurice Strong’s heart:

Among the confirmed list of participants at The Maurice Strong/IUCN (the International Union for Conservation of Nature) Environmental Dialogue as of 30 June 2009:

Hussain Aga Khan Prince, Senior Advisor to the Prince Sadruddin Aga Khan Fund for the Environment and member of the Aga Khan Development Network Committee

David Boyer Senior Director, Prince Sadruddin Aga Khan Fund for the Environment

Adrienne Clarkson Former Governor General of Canada and co-chair of the Institute for Canadian Citizenship

John Ralston Saul Author of "The Collapse of Globalism" and co-chair of the Institute for Canadian Citizenship

Maurice Strong Secretary General of 1972 Stockholm Conference and 1992 Rio Earth

Hanne Strong (Maurice Strong's wife), Executive Director, Earth Restoration Corps

Kenneth Strong, [Maurice Strong's youngest son] Principal, Cosmos International Inc

Maurice Strong, among many of his green initiatives, became the president of the UN-initiated "University for Peace" in Costa Rica in 1999, and I'm afraid this conjures up, for me, "peace, peace, where there is no peace."

When you start digging into Maurice Strong and his family's global involvements, it's "very interesting" what you turn up. Here's a profile of his son Kenneth:

Kenneth M. Strong serves as President of Technology Development Corporation (since 1996) and Chairman of Environmental Capital Corporation (since 1994), both of Ottawa, Canada, which are engaged in investment in and development of technology based businesses, and Vice President of Strovest Holdings, Inc., a family holding company, since 1987.

Since 2005, Mr. Strong has been the President and Chief Executive Officer, S3Holdings, Inc. (“S3”) of Ottawa, Canada. S3 was created to develop, mainly through its affiliate, Cosmos International, business opportunities and provide strategic services to Chinese and international companies in the technology, health care, real estate, transportation, environment and energy sectors.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Strong served for three years as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Canada. Mr. Strong’s broad experience internationally includes service with the World Economic Forum and the United Nations.

Hmmm ... businesses in China ... ties to former Canadian PM ... connections to the UN.

"Tolerance and peace..."

Uh-huh, sure. Taqiyya and secrecy is more like it:

Glad that Maurice was mentioned here. Follow the rabbit down the hole.. He is a lead to the liberal side of the globallist movement which is run out of London's leftist mind programming enterprise. Maurice's job is to meld gaian earth love with the new UN luciferian world religion being spun out of New York. I suspect he is a warlock and his wife is a witch. Lookup 'Alice Bailey' and start reading. Everyone around BT thinks I am some crank but in reality I know more than everyone else put together. (real conservative)
