Charest liberals in huge trouble

This is a good opportunity for the centre right in Quebec. the charest liberals are suffering scandal after scandal and are dropping like a rocks in the polls. The ADQ must be revived and made a credible force. We must unite behind them in Quebec. I still have friends that are doing just that. I think a new centre right party at this time is a bad idea. I wish Eric Caire and Marc Picard would return to the ADQ.

QUEBEC - Tony Tomassi was fired Thursday as Quebec's family minister after it came to light he used an oil company credit card belonging to BCIA Inc., a private security company that won government contracts.

Premier Jean Charest made the announcement and said Immigration Minister Yolande James would take on the family portfolio as well.

Mr. Charest said Mr. Tomassi used the card while he was a member of legislature and before he was elevated to cabinet.

I'm not sure if I agree. A provincial Conservative Party should be formed to replace the ADQ in the long run.

The ADQ is the only viable centre right party now. Eventually they could become a provincial Tory party.

Yes there is opportunity for conservatives again in Quebec and in Ontario, in both cases the public wants change and have become disgruntled with usual liberal sleaze. (real conservative)
