I wrote a letter to the editor in response this misguidedl fellow.

Re: "Dion showed class, honesty, decency" (Letters, Oct. 22).
Richard Magee and I must have watched two different news conferences. I watched a man whine about how the Conservatives had more money and were able to shape Canadian opinion.
Stéphane Dion was a failure for the Liberals in many ways. The reason the Conservatives had so much more money is that 140,000 Canadians donated to their party. Very few Canadians donated to the Liberals. Dion was unable to motivate grass roots donations.
Dion seems unable to accept the enormity of his defeat. Blaming the Conservatives makes him sound like a spoiled child.
