Ever More stupid judge tricks

A great editorial in the National Post. One can always count on Canadian judges to coddle criminals.

Debra Brash, Canwest News ServiceTents set up by the homeless in a park in Victoria.
There has been a string of recent judicial decisions that make us shake our heads and wonder whether the Canadian justice system has lost its collective mind: a B. C. judge creating a constitutional right for homeless people to build shelters and tent cities in public parks, a Federal Court judge awarding a quadruple murderer $6,000 because Corrections Canada refused to buy him the kind of running shoes he wanted, and a lawsuit brought by two Canadian drug dealers against Public Safety Minister Stockwell Day because he has refused their requests to be transferred from prisons in the United States to one north of the border. None of these cases is as ludicrous as it may appear on the surface, but each is still an indication of an offenders-come-first attitude that is all too prevalent.

Maybe the good Judge should lead by example and give out his address so people can use his lawn(and hey why not,his kitchen and bathroom ) as well.

Judge Terry Clarkson of Edmonton recently sentenced Neil Lester Johnson to 13 years in prison for the abduction and rape of a seven year old girl. This piece of slime entered a private home, abducted the child, and violated her so severely that she require surgery. He left her half naked covered in the mud from the alley in which he assaulted her. With consideration for time spent in jail awaiting trial, his sentence amounts to 11 1/2 years. He will be eligible for parole in about 6 years.
Instead of arguing about how long he should be imprisoned, the debate should be whether or not to hang him or burn him at the stake. As disgusting as this degenerate s.o.b. is, our so-called justice system is even more disgusting.
Quebecers may love and embrace their criminals...I don't feel the same about mine!

(Heavy sigh!) How do these crackpots get on to the bench in the first place?

Canadian pedophile from Montreal lured to Virginia by cops is facing over 1000 years in jail as Virginia cops found a CD in his luggage containing 240 images of child porn and charged him with 240 counts of possession of child porn (five years on each count).

Pedophile who was allegedly helping Toronto Police combat child porn and got nabbed with few thousands child porn images got few months in jail - it was very unusual that he did not get suspended sentence.
