My Friend Suzanne in the Post!

Suzanne Fortin has written an excellent article in the National Post. Joanne comments on it here.
Suzane fights for the rights of babies and women! Her article makes a strong case for
Bill C-484.
The death cult wants to argue there is no baby until it is in a crib at home.

But the abortion lobby doesn't see it that way. The most vocal opponent of Bill C-484, Joyce Arthur of the Abortion Rights Coalition of Canada (ARCC), has yet to acknowledge that losing a fetus is in itself an injustice. ARCC argues that Bill C-484 "does not protect women, only fetuses." ARCC wrongly believes any protection given to a fetus in law is objectionable. It believes domestic violence, not losing an unborn child, should be the "real issue."

ARCC's main concern is that C-484 would confer a type of personhood on the fetus and that would threaten the legality of abortion. Yet the reality is that C-484 does not in any way confer personhood or rights upon the fetus. It merely acknowledges that legally the fetus exists, and if damaged or destroyed intentionally by anyone other than the mother in an act of violence that the courts will punish the crime more severely

I agree with Suzanne. I hope this bill will pass. Bravo to Kate and Kathy and Suzanee. Maybe it's Joanne's or Stephen Taylor or Damian's turn next?

Our liberal Prime Minister is once again enthusiastically selling out legitimate small-c conservatives!

His refusal to coerce his entire caucus to vote in favor of bill C-484 which is a first minuscule, significant step to eradicating the despicable slaughter of innocent babies is another indication of our liberal Prime Minister’s willingness to exchange his alleged conservative fiscal/social principles for his Prime Ministerial chair. An authentic conservative would compel Verner, Cannon, O’Connor and the other left-of-centre Conservatives to vote for this bill and for the right of babies to life.

Is it time that genuine conservatives initiate a search for a new, valid conservative leader of our party; or perhaps, for a new indisputable social/fiscal conservative party? We certainly are not sustaining a right-of-centre party these days.

No anon, a true Conservative PM will allow a free vote on issues of conscious, just like the free vote on SSM.

Whipped votes are for lefties like Liberals and NDP. They have no understanding of "free" to vote.
