McCain's VP Bobby Jindal?
This article makes a strong case for him to be VP on the ticket with Senator McCain.
When I was at CPAC, I only heard very positive comments about Governor Jindal. I think he would make a good Vice President and one day President!
Other names I have heard from people at CPAC were Governor Jeb Bush, Governor Mitt Romney , J.C. Watts ( who played in the CFL!) ( I love this quote from Watts:
"...they [ Jesse Jackson, et al.] said that I had sold out and Uncle Tom. And I said well, they deserve to have that view. But I have my thoughts. And I think they're race-hustling poverty pimps." On Hannity and Colmes. and
Michael Steele. All excellent choices.
Bobby Jindal is of Indian heritage and converted from Hinduism to Roman Catholicism at an early age. He is also the first non white governor of Louisiana since Reconstruction.
Bobby Jindal brings obvious strengths to a McCain headed ticket. He has impeccable conservative credentials, which would tend to balance out McCain's somewhat more moderate and independent image. He is young, in fact the youngest governor in Louisiana history, which would tend to balance out McCain's advanced age. Finally, Jindal's knowledge of public policy, especially health and education, is without peer and would prove to be an asset to any McCain Administration.
Labels: Senator John McCain, Vice president

But would people from Louisiana vote for a Republicain ticket if they still blame George Bush for the mess in New Orleans?
Bobby Jindal was elected after Katrina. Many in the state blame the incompetence of the dem governor and friends than President Bush
Only those ignorant to Federal law would blame President Bush for the extreme failings of the most incompetent Governor in Louisiana history, "24-Hour Blanco".
Governor Jindal was a Blessing to Louisiana and as much as I want to see him succeed and eventually reside in the White House, I remain selfish in wanting him to stay right where he is. In fact, I have called on him to dispel the worries for people like me caused by articles like this one.
For all my life Louisiana has been plagued by corrupt, self-serving politicians, one in particular that now sits in Federal prison, and Governor Jindal, who I have had the pleasure to meet on several occasions, is a genuine breath of fresh air that has already begun to stop our freefall into the abyss. Governor Jindal has a great challenge before him with the State of Louisiana. I would much rather see him perform the miracle Louisiana so badly needs, a miracle I believe him capable, and then on his own record seek the White House.

Blaming President Bush is a leftist pastime.

Dr. Roy,
I see the writing on the wall and it would seem I have been selfishly attempting to hold back a growing tide.
I hope you will enjoy my comments.
