The butchers in Rangoon have started their violent suppression of their people. The world is pretty well united against these thugs.
The gerals are desperately trying to cut off the internet and cell phones.
President Bush has spoken out strongly against this criminal regime. The governments of China and Russia should be pressured to isolate the Burmese Generals. Unlike 1988, the world is watching. Let's hope the will of the Burmese people can finally be realized and Aung San Suu Kyi can become the new real leader of Burma. The world must respond to the murderers in Rangoon. If China doesn't help, the 2008 Olympics should be boycotted.
The CCD recommendations should also be implemented by HM Canadian Government.
