Your editorial ("Jean has to pace her life as G-G," April 25) about the fatigue of Governor-General Michaelle Jean amused me.
I think Canadians should appreciate that our sovereign lady, Queen Elizabeth II, does hundreds of events all over the world every year. She is amazing. Her boundless energy and her more than half-century of service to Canada and the Commonwealth are truly remarkable. All this from an 81-year-old grandmother.
God save the queen of Canada.
